On the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhadae Police (Police Martyrs’ Day), a special central ceremony held at the SSU headquarters, wherein, DIG Sindh Police Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed Commandant SSU Anwar Ali Khetran, SP SSU Ali Mardan Khoso, SP SSU Chowkandi Headquarters Shumail Riaz, SP Security-I, Malik Asghar Usman, SP Security II Abdul Azeem Tunio, senior officers and police personnel of Security & Emergency Services Division paid exemplary homage to the martyrs of Police who sacrificed their lives to safeguard country and lives of citizens.

 

A special contingent of SSU Commandos presented guard of honor to the martyrs. DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed laid floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and offered Fateha.

DIG Security also paid visit to the martyrs’ memorials situated at Security-II and Court Police to pay tribute to the martyrs of the unit and laid floral wreaths.

 

On the occasion, DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the martyrs of Sindh Police laid their lives to restore peace and secure lives of citizens in the war against terrorism along with other security institutions. This day reminds us of these fallen heroes and our commitment to establish rule of law. We are ready to fight terrorism and culprits and lay our lives in line of duty.
