Following the remarkable performance at the Dungal Submission and Grappling Championship Pakistan 2024, held on 7th September at the Korangi Road Flyover near Imtiaz Supermarket, the Special Security Unit (SSU) Commandos of Sindh Police were honored in a special meeting with DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed.

 

During the championship, the SSU Commandos showcased exceptional grappling skills, securing a total of three gold medals across various weight categories. Notably, Police Constable Shabbir dominated the 70kg category, PC Arjun triumphed in the 68kg category and PC Zeeshan excelled in the 65kg category.

 

In the meeting, DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed congratulated the commandos on their outstanding achievements and presented them with commendation certificates in recognition of their hard work and dedication. He expressed his pride in their success and emphasized the importance of physical fitness and discipline in both their professional and competitive endeavors.

 

The DIG also encouraged the commandos to continue pursuing excellence in future competitions, reinforcing the values of teamwork and resilience that are essential for their roles within the SSU.
