Deputy DG ASF Pakistan Brigadier Salahuddin Ayubi undertook a visit to the Special Security Unit Headquarters, where he was graciously welcomed by the DIG Sindh Police Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed alongside senior police officials.

 

Accompanied by DIG Security and Emergency Services Division, the Deputy DG ASF conducted a comprehensive tour of the various divisions within SSU, praising the high standard of professionalism demonstrated in the unit’s administration and operations.

 

During the visit, DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed provided an insightful overview of the SSU’s diverse sections, highlighting the establishment of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T). This elite team, comprising highly skilled commandos and female commandos armed with tactical equipment, stands ready to respond swiftly and effectively to any emergency situation.

 

Additionally, DIG Security highlighted that the Pakistan Army is actively engaged in providing advanced training to further elevate the professional capabilities of commandos, including female members, through specialized programs at various training institutions.

 

Brigadier Salahuddin Ayubi commended the SSU for its exemplary professionalism in executing administrative duties, ensuring security, and combating terrorism with utmost dedication and efficacy.

 

Later, both DIG Security & Emergency Services Division and Deputy DG ASF exchanged honorary shields.
