A delegation of 40 probationer officers from 6th Civil Services Training program (CSTP) visited SSU headquarters and lauded the professional standards of the commandos and unit.

 

Security Officer SSU Muzaffar Iqbal briefed the delegate about the functioning of the different sections of SSU and informed about the efforts to setup country’s first Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T) team.

 

He further informed that the commandos of S.W.A.T team equipped with latest weapons and communication system remained alert round the clock as quick response force to challenge any critical situation if created by the anti-social elements.

 

The delegation were later brought to the National Stadium to witness cricket test match between Pakistan and England.
