A delegation comprising faculty members and trainee officers of Sindh Prisons & Corrections Services emphasized that the whole police department could be established as per international standards, if steps followed by the Special Security Unit adopted across the country.

 

This was observed by the officers during their detailed visit of various sections of the Special Security Unit Headquarters.

 

Security Officer SSU Muzaffar Iqbal briefed the delegation about the functioning of the various sections of SSU and informed the measures adopted to setup country’s first Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T) team, advance professional training provided to commandos and the operational preparedness of the commandos.
