𝟓𝟎 𝐒𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝟖-𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐄 (𝐍𝐒𝐎𝐓𝐂)

A passing out parade ceremony was held at Naval Special Operations Training Centre (NSOTC), Karachi where 50 commandos of Special Security Unit (SSU) acquired 8-weeks Counter Terrorism Course from Special Services Group (Navy).
It was overall 9th batch of SSU commandos passed out from the centre. So far, 250 SSU commandos have received tactical training from NSOTC.
Training modules included unarmed combat for self-defense, close quarter combat, repelling, basic explosive and use of modern small weapons.
DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed was the chief guest of the passing out ceremony, whereas, Commander SSG Navy Jawwad Khowaja was also present on the occasion.
While addressing the ceremony, DIG Security said that the tactical training provided to Sindh Police SSU Commandos will play an effective role in war against terrorism.
DIG Security further said that Naval Special Operations Training Centre is playing an important role to provide the modernized training not only to the Navy but also to the SSU, the commandos of SSU, being passed out from the center using their skills against crimes and terrorism. He hoped for the continuation of such trainings in future.
Commandant NSOTC Noman Aslam addressing the officers said that upon completion of this course successfully, the commandos have become capable to counter terrorism activities and are now able to cope up any hostile situation if created by the terrorists.
Later, Commandant SSU Zeeshan Shafiq Siddique presented an honorary shield to Commander SSG Navy Captain Jawwad Khowaja who also handed over souvenirs to the DIG Security.
