UNDER TRAINING ASsP OF 49TH SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAM AND 27TH INITIAL COMMAND COURSE VISITS SSU HEADQUARTERS

Under training ASsP of 49th Specialized Training Program and 27th Initial Command Course visited Special Security Unit Headquarters and appreciated professional standard maintained in management, administration and counter terrorism operations.
SP SSU Azhar Mughal briefed the delegation about the performance of various sections of SSU, the country’s first Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T) and advanced professional training imparted to the commandos.
DIG Sindh Police Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed chairing a meeting on the occasion emphasized the need that the Pakistan police should improve their ability through human resources, recruitment and modern trainings to meet the highest international standards of modern policing.
DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed further informed the under-training ASsP about the large-scaled flood relief activities conducted by the Security Division during recent devastated floods in Sindh where Security Division playing a pivotal role distributed ration amongst the flood affectees in far-flung areas, provided security to the convoys of welfare organizations and established a grand medical camp in Dadu.
DIG Dr. Maqsood Ahmed further said that the Commandos of SSU have been provided different professional trainings from various institutions including Army training centres to make them physically fit with modern skills to challenge any untoward situation.
