Latest technology of Anti-Drone Jammer is being used at the central procession of Muharram-ul-Harram in Karachi by the Security Division.

 

Sindh government has strictly banned using Heli-cams for video recording by the media channels or any type of drones in the larger interest of safety and security of the central procession.

 

In collaboration with National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) an Anti-Drone Jammer is stationed which can spot out any Heli-cam or Drone camera in surrounding areas of the route of the central procession.

 

On the occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed stated that keeping in view of the present law & order situation and high threat, no drone policy is being implemented strictly.
