SECURITY DIVISION, SINDH POLICE IN COLLABORATION WITH JDC ORGANIZES A FREE GRAND MEDICAL CAMP FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN DADU; MEDICAL CHECK-UP OF THOUSANDS OF PROPLE FROM DIFFERENT AREAS CONDUCTED ON FIRST DAY

Security Division on behalf of Sindh Police is conducting a two-day free medical camp in Dadu collaboration with a welfare organization JDC for the flood victims. Specialist doctors conducted free medical examinations of more than 20,000 patients from different areas & distributed free medicines amongst the sicks.
 
Arrangements were finalized by the Security Division team at DHQ Hospital Dadu for the Grand Medical Camp, whist, announcements were also made on roads, streets and nearby villages via loudspeakers prior to the setup of the medical camp. Pamphlets specially prepared for the camp were also distributed among the people.
 
Complete logistic support and security are being provided by the Special Security Unit (SSU) in the medical camp, while medicines worth ten million have been provided by the JDC. Doctors of Karachi Medical and Dental College are voluntarily rendering their services for the camp.
 
Various type of tests like Sugar, Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue, CBC, ECG, X-RAY and Ultrasound are being conducted free of cost by the Essa Lab in the camp.
 
The camp started at 8 am in the morning today which will continue till 6 pm and will be held tomorrow during the same time.
 
On this occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed has said that Sindh Police is providing all possible help to the flood victims by utilizing their existing resources. The way Sindh Police along with welfare institutions have helped their mothers, sisters and brothers in difficult times is unprecedented and Dadu’s medical camp is an example of this spirit.
