JOINT EXERCISE CONDUTED BY SSU COMMANDOS KPSF PERSONNEL

Commandant Karachi Port Security Force (KPSF) Emran Rashid visited SSU Headquarters wherein he was briefed about the various sections of the Special Security Unit.
 
The commandant appreciated the professional standards of the SSU Commandos.
 
DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed welcomed the guest and presented him an honorary shield.
 
Later, S.W.A.T (Special Weapons and Tactics) team of Special Security Unit, Sindh Police conducted a mock exercise of rescue operation and emergency response jointly with Karachi Port Security Force at KPT head office.
 
The team led by DSP Aurangzaib of SSU conducted a joint-mock exercise with regard to crackdown against terrorists or anti-social elements in case of any untoward/terror incident.
 
Special Security Unit’s S.W.A.T team is Pakistan’s first ever team of professionally trained commandos equipped with latest weapons and communication system was constituted as quick response force to challenge any emergency situation if created by the anti-social elements /terrorists.
 
The KPT officials extended their gratitude and appreciated the preparedness and professionalism of S.W.A.T team to overcome any untoward/terror incident.
