DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed visited parade ground Islamabad to witness the traditional Pakistan Day Parade.

It is pertinent to mention here that a special contingent of 371 personnel of Sindh Police comprising 182 commandos of Special Security Unit (SSU), 131 personnel of Traffic Police and other districts of Karachi Range and 58 personnel of Rapid Response Force (RRF) led by SP Baldia Karachi Capt.®️ Faizan Ali participated in Pakistan Day Parade-2022 for the very first time.

DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed expressed his satisfaction over the performance of the contingent of Sindh police.

On the occasion, conveying the message, the DIG Security said that Pakistan Day is a landmark day in the history of the sub-continent on many counts. On this day in 1940, the Muslim demanded for a ‘separate state’ called Pakistan. Subsequently, this demand came into reality on 14th August, 1947.

While commemorating this day, we need to adhere to the principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline given by Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and stay united at all cost so no enemy cast devil eye upon our homeland, Dr. Maqsood Ahmed added.
